CheckThatMate ("we", "us", or "our") operates the checkthatmate.com website. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our service.
2. Information We Collect
During our current pre-launch phase, the categories below are only collected if you complete a booking and explicitly choose "Keep me posted" on the confirmation screen — see the pre-launch demand validation note below for details.

Pre-Launch Demand Validation
CheckThatMate is currently in a pre-launch phase. The booking flow lets us measure genuine interest before we open. No payment is taken and no appointment is scheduled. If you complete a booking, your contact details are only stored if you explicitly choose "Keep me posted" on the confirmation screen — otherwise nothing is retained. Details we do store are kept for a maximum of 90 days and used solely to notify you when we launch. You can ask us to delete your details at any time via LINE or WhatsApp, and we will remove them promptly.
Cookies & Analytics
We use two privacy-friendly analytics tools to understand how our website is used: Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. They collect anonymous usage and interaction data (pages viewed, clicks, device type). They never receive your test results, and we never send your name, email, or phone number to them.
These tools load only if you accept them in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. Until you accept, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode (no cookies, no identifiers) and Microsoft Clarity does not load at all. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Your test bookings do not depend on this choice — booking works whether you accept or reject analytics.

We use the collected information to:

- Schedule your test appointment (once we launch)

4. Data Protection
Your privacy is our priority. We use industry-standard encryption and never share your data with third parties without explicit consent. All identifying information is purged from our systems after results are delivered.
5. Anonymous Testing
Our service is designed for complete anonymity. We do not require ID, and your name is never linked to your test results. Results are accessed via a unique Secure ID.
